Tonight is Grammy nightfall; the big daddy of back-patting renown in the recording vigour. As shop-worn, the artists that are nominated are thrilled and the ones who aren’t are amazed at the board’s be of soup. There aren’t a lot of surprises in the significant categories, and that’s to be expected in view of the Grammy commission has always been the last bastion of FM dial enjoyment. Of certainly 2009’s customary suspects’ coffers runneth over with nominations.
