Are eyeglass lenses made specifically for one frame?

I have a tandem of DKNY frames that are starting to fall apart. The style has been discontinued, but I'd like to buy new frames that fit these lenses. Do I have to find the perfect same frames (DY4501) or would these lenses fit in another DKNY frame

They are made unprejudiced to fit that shape of frame design so these lenses will only fit that model. You could try find another frame that is smaller than the one you currently have. In this case, your lenses can be cut down to fit a smaller framing.
