The Recycling Center will be accepting tires from the citizens of Pearland, but not from businesses or municipalities. Tires on rims, suds filled or solid tires will not be accepted. There is a limit of eight tires per household, and visitors will be charged $5 each for additional tires. Trial of residency will be required.

Used eyeglasses and hearing aids will accepted at the Center as well for the Pearland Lions Mace eyeglass program.

Additionally, clear and colored plastics figure 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7 will be accepted, but no plastic grocery bags or packaging materials such as spume peanuts. Also, newspapers, white office/replica paper, computer bar paper, junk mail/magazines, phone books, cardboard, doomed books, colored and clear glass, aluminum cans, knife cans, steel lids, scrap metal and chiefly appliances will be accepted.
