Could it be dangerous to use broken CPAP mask?

I use a CPAP appliance to sleep; it's a resmed device and the mask is a full face mask. It has an "anti-asphyxia valve" (the elbow group) that has broken. I have used pvc tape to hold it together, but it's covering the vents. I'm wondering

is it the under age clip on the side of the rotating collar? if so take the tape off and lodge a toothpick into the side of the collar to check the clip, it will still leak some air but better than sleeping without the air flow. profitable luck

Does RESMED make a "pillow" CPAP MASK with a chin strap?

The pillow side works good for me but I have to use a chin strap,,which SLIPS OFF during the blackness,,as the chin strap is seperate. If it had a built in chin strap it would be first-class. The full face mask is a NIGHTMARE for me.

I have never seen a built on chin strap. Call the retirement community care company that provides your supplies. They will be thrilled to discharge a function you. If not call another one. CPap supplies can be changed out every three months and insurance
