Heading out to a boisterous end hotel, where you had to go past a doorman, to pick up a PADS (Pacific Backing Dogs Society) puppy I figured this must be one pampered pooch.

Hawk happens to lodge in a suite at the Coast Plaza Hotel with his puppy raiser Robyn Newton and her husband, who recently took a weekend vacation and needed a puppy sitter. But undeterred by the nice digs, Hawk was not at all snobbish. This pleasant black Labrador has to be one of the favourite dogs-in-training our kindred has had the privilege of caring for short-term. Perhaps it was the solid stream of hotel staff who delighted in best Hawk at the hotel which just seemed to make this really friendly breed even more social. Within minutes of gathering Hawk he was happily sitting on the floor boards of my car with no misapprehension about leaving his New Zealand pub suite for a weekend adventure on the east side of village.

What I enjoy about volunteering as a puppy sitter is the opportunity to congruous  many of the PADS dogs, who all come with their distinct characters. Hawk is one of the most loving and committed puppies I've met so far, folllowing me from room to compartment all weekend. He acted as if I had been with him from the very beginning of his journey with PADS although we had only by a hair's breadth met and he quickly became a neighbourhood favourite at the peculiar, unofficial dog park. It was immediate bonding between this affable puppy and the regulars at these constantly meet and greet dog park sessions. (If you need to get to know your neighbours my advice is to get a dog.) My only regret after puppy sitting Hawk is I forgot to issue the camera to the dog park. As McCloskey’s touchy training camp begins to wind down, the Dungiven man is understandably reaping the benefits - appearing leaner and stronger - and Breen believes they have developed a carefully constructed match-plan which will shock the Freddie Roach trained fighter.

It has captivated many sacrifices and a lifetime of hard graft for the skilful-moving McCloskey to reach the pinnacle of his vocation and having relocated to Belfast and enlisted the pirate of strength and conditioning coach, Oliver Cummings, Breen has never seen ‘Dudey’ in such prodigious shape.

I have a pocket-sized Bichon with long-lasting renal damp squib and when she urinates it’s fairly a bit, as she is unfit to condense her urine. I didn’t find this yield any more absorbant. Somehow it ends up leaking under the bogus. So far the in the most suitable way I’ve found is only sold in packages of 3, “Clifford the Big Red Dog non- out enter pads”. I’ve tried them all!.
