What would you recommend-Mucinex or Robitussin?

I am planning on infuriating Mucinex or Robitussin with the guafenisin (spelling?) this month to help my CM. I don't unqualifiedly know if one or the other is better, so any help with that would be great. This will be our 4th month TTC#1.

Mucinex is permissible to take over an extended period of time and Robitussin is not because it has other ingriedients like cut to the quick relieve. Also with Mucinex you take one aday an you would have to take Robitussin every 4-6hrs.

Mucinex for baby boy?

I have a wholesome 8 month old and he woke up with a cough that sounds very congested. He is very big for his age and shape. SHOULD I USE MUCINEX FOR HIS COLD.
THANKS I WASNT SURE. HIS PEDIATRICIAN WANTS TO Be the source HIM IN BUT NOT UNTIL TOMORROW
