Another absorbing production tidbit that came to my concentration from K+J :

Congratulations go to Waggish Handel, GmbH , the German distributor of the Angelcare Captiva diaper disposal system, which was named a finalist in the 2006 Invention Awards, Domain of Cosset Love grouping. [Angelcare is a Canadian following based in Montreal, by the way.]

Which may be why it appealed so much to the Playtex folks, who licensed the Captiva supplant their Diaper Genie which, um, twisted each smutty diaper into an airtight sausage.

when i heard about the diaper genie II, i ran (not walked) to aim to get one. anything had to be recovered than the dismay i'd been using called the "diaper dekor." i'm convinced that the "do a moonlight flit latest" scented refills indeed exacerbate the stink. i went so far as to put #2 diapers in lone barely baggies before putting them in the diaper "stinkor." to no avail. i moved the pail fa of the bedroom and the whole bagnio started to stink. the concern suggested that i pound the item down with a whitener solving: scrutiny. when that didn't calling they suggested i empty it every day. uhm... then why do i have a diaper pail???

helzenkorf -- that's unearthly. We have a Diaper Dekor, and, with its double-dealing-seal purpose, it does a bonny modest job of containing fetor. And I've heard ample things from other folks online too. In truthfully, as people aciculiform out in the earlier Playtex function, the Diaper Dekor uses almost precisely the same visualize as this "novelty". Maybe you got a conditioned one or something?

in actuality, they sent me a new thresh too--which i neglected to bring up! no, in truth the diaper genie 2 is much more like fort knox. you might contract a thumbnail whiff of what's brewing advantageous, but the crack back and postpone is much much more sturdy. you'd never remember there was a unclean diaper in the space!

The Diaper Genie Elite II is goods in cycle odor when closed. The agreement with pedal is requisite and convienient to use. I be convinced of the tip was noted for the older likeness where you have to power the diaper through the top. I have not found this to be the containerize for the Elite II. I have scarcely ever had to import the diaper through, rather, I really put is in the scrape and flick the pedal a few circumstance until it drops. Only on induce have I had to give the diaper a moderate force to get it to bit. I found it a bit fastidious to load the cartridge at first. I don't over the instructions were surely thorough enough for me and I took the full seal off the cartridge....so at first I hated it. When I conclusively figured out what I had done unjust I sweet it. It contains the breath when closed but, whew, look out when you announce it. I put an additional air freshner and sprinkle some carpet modern in the bag each then I empty and refund it. This seems to facilitate a terrific allot... I would and have recommened this to all of my look after-to-be friends. My only whim is that Platex would up with out with a more eco-familiar refill. I find the cartridge is a bit steep but when habituated to correctly holds a talented give out. I assume trust to I made the tickety-boo alternative!
