What is the difference between a Garmin 350 and a Garmin 255?

I got a Garmin for christmas from my missus. Coincidentally I got a Garmin for her too. We do not need 2 of them, and we are debating on which one to keep. Which one is better? The 255 or the 350?

Eminent minds think alike, but you didn't say who got which model :)

Keep the 255. It's a newer image, and it comes with a bunch of improvements. I think that the 2 biggest improvements are:

The first is what they call "HotFix"

How do i use my Garmin Forerunner 305 to track my lap performance?

I'm new to unceasing on a track, but I just joined this running club and bought a Garmin Progenitor 305 to measure performance. It seems pretty complicated and I'm not infallible how to best use it to make sure my laps are on pace. Any guidance?

i would call the entourage as they are very confusing instruments.
